Castle is about a mental battle within yourself.
The Castle is the barrier you have put up against the world, and the song encapsulates escaping that way of thinking, and bringing down the walls, whilst feeling alone in the battle.
lyrics
Are you anti hope?
You the anti pope?
Ain't so clean now, anti soap
Drag on the river bed, my aunty knows
You seen the ghost, love me most
Belly full now, Sunday roast
Two lives at most, can't lead them both
No voice to boast
Tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching
When no ones watching, no
Tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching
When no ones watching, no
When no ones watching, no
When no ones watching, no
I said, you ain't got it
You ain't moving in
I said, you ain't got it
No it never ends
Got money in my pocket
Can't afford a Benz
I said, you ain't got it, got it
It won't bend
Run my own way
Deaf to the state
You ain't a mate, it wasn't made for me
Play my own game
You ain't the same
Neither's my face, don't recognise he
No your violence
Won't buy my silence
Slipping up again, more lies from a diamond
Don't cut deep, paper knives they break down
Not a heavy shake down
Won't hear a fake sound
Currency a fake pound
Can't pull a real crowd
Hat is a fake crown
Back to your tent, you a real clown
Tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching
When no ones watching, no
Tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching, watching, no
When no ones watching, no
When no ones watching, no
I said, you ain't got it
You ain't moving in
I said, you ain't got it
No it never ends
Got money in my pocket
Can't afford a Benz
I said, you ain't got it, got it
It won't bend
Tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching
When no ones watching, no
Tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching, watching, no
I'm tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching
When no ones watching, no
Tearing down the walls of my own castle
When no ones watching, watching, no
